Only 20 minutes from the city, The Red Lion is an eclectic, warm, and welcoming public house which has been serving locals since around 1870. Sandwiched between our ground floor pub and upper rooms is our gorgeous antique ballroom, which provides a perfect setting for weddings, birthdays or big parties. We also have 10 recently refurbished boutique hotel rooms upstairs including spatious double and family rooms. Each bedroom places an emphasis on vintage glamour with beautiful wallpapers, antique furniture and luxurious fabric, so you will be spoilt for choice. If you’re ever curious, just ask one of our team for a quick peek upstairs. And last, but by no means least - our secret beer garden is great for soaking up the sunshine.
