An Evening with Mike Joyce (The Smiths)

We’re thrilled to welcome Mike Joyce, drummer of the iconic The Smiths, to The Red Lion for another special live event brought to you by the Rock 'n' Roll Book Club.

To celebrate the release of his memoir The Drums, Mike will be in conversation sharing stories from his time in one of the most influential bands in music history. Expect honest reflections, behind-the-scenes moments from the band’s rise in the 1980s, and memories of his close friendship with bassist Andy Rourke.

The talk begins at 7:30pm, followed by an audience Q&A and the chance to meet Mike and have copies of the book signed.

A must for Smiths fans and music lovers alike.
